ECON 1010 MACROECONOMICS

A beginning study of how the economic society is organized and uses scarce resources to provide for its material wants. Topics to be covered include national income analysis, business cycles, the banking system, monetary and fiscal policy, inflation, and unemployment.

ECON 1020 MICROECONOMICS

How the economic society is organized and uses scarce resources to provide for its material wants. Second semester will cover value and rice theory, monopoly and public policy, markets for productive goods and services, labor economics, alternative forms of economic organizations.
