HLED 1003 WELLNESS

"Wellness" does not simply mean the absence of disease. It is a term that defines the total person. This course will explore the mental, emotional, and physical health of the individual. This is a self-learning course that includes evaluating thoughts, feelings and attitudes as well as the physical health and well- being of each student. Students will learn various techniques in relaxation and stress management, strategies for disease preven- tion, current information on AIDS and AIDS prevention, and many useful tools for achieving optimal health and well-being.
